How it all began...

Rebecca was brought up with a father of Chinese heritage, which sparked a keen interest in Chinese culture. Her passion for Chinese medicine stems from the philosophy of Taoism, which she encountered while traveling and studying belief systems from around the world.

Rebecca first encountered acupuncture while writing an article for a local newspaper about a rehabilitation center. She witnessed an acupuncture treatment supporting addiction rehabilitation and was fascinated by how these needles could affect someone's mental state. She went on to meet many inspiring acupuncturists on her journeys.

When Rebecca was pregnant, she was 10 days overdue and facing pressure from the hospital to be induced. Wanting a natural birth, she received acupuncture to induce labor. A few hours later, the labor process began, and she now has a wonderful son.

Rebecca knew she had to explore this ancient wisdom further and enrolled at the prestigious Northern College of Acupuncture.
